On Sunday evening I made these soft, glazed cookies as a little treat to enjoy while watching the first episode of the new season of Downton Abbey. I have a ton of citrus right now as nearly everyone here in Phoenix have lemon, orange or grapefruit trees and most people are desperate to give it all away or bad things can happen. My boss has a lemon tree and brings me lemons almost every day so instead of using them to flavor my tea or water I thought I’d make these cookies instead. They were good, but I think I would add more lemon if I made them again as the flavor was almost too bland. I think I would rather save my lemons to make lemon bars instead (one of my favorite treats).
Do you like lemon flavored desserts?
