Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American friends! I hope you have a lovely time with family and friends and partake of some excellent food. Mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce are on the agenda for me today – and pie. Lots of pie.
If you aren’t American – Happy Thursday! Pie would be an excellent way to celebrate an ordinary Thursday, too.
I am so thankful for the friends I’ve made through blogging and I am grateful for the conversations we share.
Have a wonderful day!
A very happy Thanksgiving to you too! What is your favorite kind of pie? I’m leaning toward pecan today, but it’s usually raisin or apple.

My favorite is apple, but today I also had a pumpkin pie crumble. It was delicious! Hope you had a great day.

I hope you are having a lovely Thanksgiving. Eat some pie for me – but not pumpkin pie!

Thank you, Katrina – are you not a pumpkin pie person? I’m not either, but today I had a pumpkin pie crumble that was so good. The pumpkin was very mild.

I once scooped out a pumpkin for Halloween when my boys were wee, to me it smelled of sick so I can’t imagine eating it. I went back to the traditional Scottish turnip lanterns after that, much harder work to scoop out though.

Haha! I have to admit it is pretty icky if not flavored well and the texture is scary too.

Thanksgiving! Such a nice holiday. For once I actually had all the Thanksgiving foods they talk about in the media, mashed potatoes and cranberry and all. It was nice. Not the pie so much. I’m not a big pie person.

Oh no! Do you prefer cake?
I LOVE Thanksgiving food, it is my favorite food ever and I inevitably stuff myself every year. My family usually does a non-traditional Christmas (lasagna or the like) so I have to enjoy it all on Thanksgiving.
