Taking a Small Break

I feel like this wilting flower.

I am going to be taking a small break from blogging, perhaps one or two weeks. I have been feeling physically unwell for months now and am trying to figure out what I need to do to improve my health. My main complaint is extreme exhaustion to the point of only being able to drag myself out of bed for work and drag myself home. Many of my evenings are spent sprawled on the couch, unable even to turn on my computer or hold up a book. As a result I am very unproductive and have let many things slide. I have tried not to let blogging or commenting on your blogs slide, but I think it is time that I let them go for a while as I try to get my energy back.

When I return it will be with a new blog design! I am excited to show you the colorful look that Yellow & Savvy Design is working on for me.

So, for now I will say farewell – I will see you in a few weeks!

Oh , I hope you feel better soon, I’m going to miss you. Mind you, it’s so hot where you are that I know I wouldn’t be able to function at all, keep cool! Looking forward to a revitalised Anbolyn.

I’m sorry to hear that you haven’t been feeling well – and I’ll miss your posts – but the important thing is to take care of yourself. Hopefully books will still provide some solace & distraction, even if you’re not up to talking about them. I hope you’ll let us know how you’re getting on. Take care!

Oh no, this is EXACTLY why I had to take a blogging break recently (and I’m still not back to full capacity by any means). I have been feeling unwell for so long now with physical exhaustion too; in fact it has got to the stage that until they figure out what is wrong with me, I am only working part time and I’m STILL exhausted and sleeping in the day as well as at night. I am trying excercise, eating nothing but really nutritious food etc but I am still so tired all the time. It’s horrible and it’s debilitating so I completely understand. Enjoy your break away and your rest and I hope you feel better soon. Keep me up to date with how you are. Big hugs xxx

I shall miss you, but you are doing the right thing. Your health and wellbeing is far more important than blogging and commenting, and I hope you will begin to feel better very soon.

Sappho, spelled (in the dialect spoken by the poet) Psappho, (born c. 610, Lesbos, Greece — died c. 570 BCE). A lyric poet greatly admired in all ages for the beauty of her writing style.

Her language contains elements from Aeolic vernacular and poetic tradition, with traces of epic vocabulary familiar to readers of Homer. She has the ability to judge critically her own ecstasies and grief, and her emotions lose nothing of their force by being recollected in tranquillity.
